kNOw Limits, founded in 2020, seeks to make education more accessible with a free peer mentorship service. With the dedication of volunteer peer mentors, we will match students to an individual who can support them on their academic and career journeys. Contact us if you are interested in being a peer mentor (HS-College Students) or if you would like to be matched with a mentor for the school year (K-12).

The Voyager Scholarship is available for current college sophomores (rising juniors) here in the United States interested in working towards positive change with a desire to travel and expand their horizons.

Are they bridge builders in their communities and eager to learn from others? If so, I hope you’ll help us spread the word and encourage them to apply to Obama Foundations 2025 Voyager Scholarship for Public Service. More information can be found at the link in our bio!

Hello everyone! The Cboe Empowers Scholarships is now open and will close at 3 PM CST on February 3. The requirements are as follows:

• Identify as underrepresented
• Reside in one of the following cities: Chicago (South or West side), Kansas City MO, Kansas City KS, New York City (Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, The Bronx, or Staten Island)
• Have a minimum GPA of a 2.3 on a 4.0 scale

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month! We would like to share some facts about Colorectal Cancer and emphasize the importance of early screening and awareness amongst minority communities who might be at the highest risk.

We would like to take this time to acknowledge the February and March celebrations of Black History Month and Women’s History Month. Many contributions made by both Black individuals, as well as women, throughout history and into the present have truly created positive change for our communities. For that, we are forever grateful. 🤍

When you apply to become a mentee, what should you expect?

• You will be assigned a mentor who will tutor you on the topics of your choice once a week for the duration of your session

• Events will be held throughout the year to connect you with those in your prospective career, information sessions to prepare you for advanced courses, and chances to search for other extracurricular and scholarship opportunities local to you

• Your mentor, as well as other peer mentors working with kNOw Limits, will be able to share their academic path and possible steps you can take on your own to be more successful

• Teams will work together to present projects or lead activities that will build leadership and important skills, and there will also be an opportunity to learn service hours through this!
